WELCOME TO CAD CUT CNC.
HOME OF THE 4' X 8' INDUSTRIAL ROUTER

You can build a machine like
this ! The above is a 4X8' industrial router.
PLEASE
READ THE ENTIRE SITE BEFORE YOU WRITE WITH QUESTIONS !!!
This is a heavy duty CNC Router that is
no 'hobby machine'. Yes it is a hobbiest dream but this CNC Router is
capable of much more than hobby work and can do things that machines that
cost $ 50,000 + can do.
This machine can cut over 200 IPM, with over 300 pounds of cutting force .

Picture from backside of gantry. Note
things like the gantry cover, limit switches, joystick, cable carriers,
heavy duty construction, high clearance over parts (deep cutting
ability)....this machine rivals machines that cost many
thousands more.
A machine designed like this offers many advantages. A more rigid machine
not only lasts longer but gives you the kind of accuracy not found in many
'home built' CNC machines. The machine is stout enough to cut heavy wood
projects, and accurate enough to carve beautiful wooden medallions,
carvings etc, to about a 220 grit finish or better. The machines
capabilities will surprise you. The plans we offer tells you in detail how
to build your own machine to do all this - yourself. You DO NOT have to
own, or work at a machine shop to build this. All you need is a drill
press, and a tap (and a few accurate measuring, marking tools)
This machine was designed with quite a few things in mind
- mainly cost to performance factor and ease of construction
Steel Frame - Inexpensive, sturdy, good mass to dampen vibrations
Use of aluminum tooling plate - Sturdy, easy to work with, very straight and all the aluminum can
be purchased as a 'kit' - all you have to do is layout and drill holes, and
tap !
Square 'box' shaped gantry - Very sturdy and accurate, easy to build, components
inside gantry.
Dual pinion / rack drive on X axis - No torque of gantry during cutting operations
Rack drive located on top of aluminum supports - VERY sturdy, accurate, easy to adjust, rack is very straight, and lends
itself to high accuracy. Also allowed everything to be very compact - which adds to stiffness = accuracy
No moving parts under table - Easy to install vacuum table components
No compromise
parts in this machine - Quality components mean a quality
machine. This machine uses all name brand linear rails, ball bearings,
motors and parts. No 'homemade' bearings, rails, etc...
Easy to
customize - Easy to add custom features, or upscale /
downscale to suit your needs.
